Fairy fort in Skarragh, County Cork: a circular rath about thirty metres across, drawn on the 1842 map and later levelled on W. O'Callaghan's land. A low arc still rises from southwest to north, while aerial views show three fosses in the pasture. People may have lived there before ploughs and beliefs moved it from memory into legend.
