Skahanagh South holds a thirty-six metre earthen ring on a west-facing slope, overlooking Meenane bog. Its overgrown bank rises only thirteen decimetres above the pasture, yet a two-metre gap and possible underground passage suggest the fort still hides more than it reveals. Cattle graze beside the faint fosse today, unaware they tread a boundary drawn between land and legend.

In pasture on W-facing slope; overlooking Meenane bog to W. Slightly raised circular area (c. 36m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by overgrown earthen bank (H 1.3m); slight traces of fosse. Gap (Wth 2m) to W.
