Thirty-seven metres across on sloping Kerry pasture, the fort still stands with a two-metre bank, shallow fosse and two earthen tails stretching west into the field. Cattle have bitten holes through the rim, yet the southern gap and western projections remain visible in the grass. People may have lived there, fenced stock or simply marked the landscape before written memory began.

Internal diameter 36m N-S, 37m E-W Situated on gently sloping pastureland, this univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The enclosing earthen bank has a steeper, sloped appearance on the exterior side; it rises to a maximum of 2.2m high externally and to an average of .7m above the internal area. Surrounding most of the site is an external fosse, U shaped, 2m-3m wide and .5m deep. Numerous cattle breaks exist in the bank, but there would appear to be an entrance to the S which is c 10m in width. Projecting out of the exterior of the W and NW bank are two earthen banks, c 4m in width and .6m high, which travel W for a maximum of 9m until they touch the fieldbank running N-S.
