Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Sheegeeragh is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Sheegeeragh, County Roscommon, Ireland. The subcircular grass-covered platform measures 26 metres east-west and 23 metres north-south towards the north-west edge of a plateau. Two man-made underground passages lie within the mound at the south-west and south-east, although no bank, fosse or original entrance remains visible.
Towards the NW edge of a plateau. Subcircular grass-covered and domed platform (dims 26m E-W; 23m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.1m at S to 1.2m at N). There is no visible evidence of a bank, fosse or original entrance. Man-made underground passage (RO028-136002-) is inside the mound at SW, and Man-made underground passage (RO028-136003-) is within the mound at SE.
