Scrarour held a thirty-metre earthen ring with a smaller central feature and a lime kiln on its north-west bank. Farmers later levelled the mound into tillage, erasing the shape that surveyors marked in 1842. The dark wall Claidh Dubh still stands a short distance east, witnessing the disappearance of a neighbour once familiar enough to draw.

Levelled; no visible surface trace. Claidh Dubh (CO026-099---*) running N-S, lies c. 250m to E of enclosure.
