Death and reconstruction both cut through the story. The road boundary removed the NE-SE perimeter, yet the aerial mark still shows a subrectangular enclosure about 40m across in The 21. That is a fairytale place, not a finished fact: a chamber built around an absent chamber, remembering the shape of what the road took.

The cropmark of a subrectangular enclosure (dims c. 40m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (OSAP: 1995), but the perimeter NE-SE has been removed by a NNW-SSE road boundary.
