What is recorded here

Russelstown holds a broken twenty-metre ring where human hands shaped earth into a circle before memory faded. Two banks and a ditch remain, but the east, south and west walls dissolved into grassland, leaving small hollows scattered across the interior like abandoned footprints. The shape still resists forgetting even when the surface has surrendered it.

On a slight rise in otherwise level grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 20m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. No visible surface trace of the enclosing elements survives from E through S to W. A number of small hollows occupy S half of interior.
