What is recorded here

On a small glacial knoll, some 80m E of a CBG (GA004-010----). Known locally as the site of a 'church'. Apart from a rectangular pile of loose rubble (N-S; L 5m, Wth 2.5m) which marks the site, no visible surface trace survives. A trackway (GA004-015----) lies to N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
