What is recorded here

Three small lioses once stood on the crest of a ridge in Rosslague, their circular walls enclosing perhaps thirty-five metres of lived space. Ploughs and progress have since levelled them into ordinary tillage, erasing the very banks that marked human boundaries. Yet the land still holds the shape of what was lost, inviting imagination to populate the empty circle with forgotten voices and vanished days.

According to Power (1923, 201) 'The O.M. records three small lioses; these have been all levelled, though their sites are easily recognised'. No visible surface trace.
