Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Rosehill (tullyhaw By.) is a rath: a raised circular area thirty-one metres across, enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep, waterlogged fosse. It stands in County Cavan, Ireland, where the ground itself seems to have drawn a line around a life once lived inside. The eastern entrance reported earlier suggests people entered deliberately, perhaps carrying butter, children, arguments or prayers. The water in the ditch still does what ditches do: keeps out what should not enter.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 31.2m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep, waterlogged fosse. An earlier report (OPW 1969) noted an entrance feature at E.
