What is recorded here
Situated on the NE face of a small prominent hillock. Man-made underground passage (WM013-093----) 320m to W, ringfort (WM013-085----) 180m to NNW. Remains consist of a raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 24m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by a well preserved earth and stone bank with a wide external fosse that has been in-filled from ENE-SSW. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.2m) at ESE. The interior slopes slightly to ESE. Traces of a large rectangular house (WM013-094001-) are visible to W of centre.
