Located on a fairly level landscape. The faint cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, AIC 42). It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop. The rath sites (WX048-028001-; WX048-028004-; WX048-028003-) are nearby within 100-200m E-S-W.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
