Situated on a fairly level landscape. An oval feature (dims c. 30m N-S; c. 25m E-W) that appears to be defined by a fosse feature is visible on vertical aerial photographs (GSIAP: T 64/63) from 1973. It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop.
