In a poorly drained pasture in County Limerick, a rough earthen circle stands on a gentle slope above the Mulkear river. Its bank and outer ditch still mark a small enclosed life, while a second ringfort watches across the water. The uneven ground and broken outer trace suggest people shaped, used and forgot the place long before anyone measured it.

Situated in poorly drained pasture on a gentle slope down to the W towards the Mulkear river. Anothe rringfort (LI015-010----) is visible across the river to WNW. There are good views to N and S. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (33.2m N-S; 32.3m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 1.1m; int. H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 1.6m), with traces of an external bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 2m; ext. H 0.1m) from NW to SE. There is a gap in the external bank at SE.
