Fairy forts hide in plain sight, wearing earthen rings instead of gold. This is one of them: a shallow circular bank in Raffeen pasture, levelled but still defined, set on a south-facing slope with a wide view. People may have lived here, herded here, or simply noticed the shape and kept it clear. The fairies, according to local story, never left.

In pasture, on S-facing slope, commanding extensive view. Levelled; circular area (30.2m N-S; 31.2m E-W) defined by low bank (ext. H 1m). Interior slopes gently towards centre.
