Fairy fort in Peafield is a circular earth and stone bank, 25 metres across, with a break to the west and a shallow ditch outside. It sits on a west-facing slope in pasture, its interior following the natural tilt of the land. People may have lived there, or excluded it, or simply pointed at it when someone asked why the field had a round scar. The bank still stands, which means the shape mattered enough to make and keep.

In pasture on W-facing slope. Circular area (25.4m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 1.2m) and shallow external fosse. Break in bank to W. Interior follows natural slope.
