Fairy fort in Oldcastle, County Cork. Circular earthworks, 32 metres across, with an inner bank, a fosse and a worn outer bank. A line of stones still protrudes along the south top of the inner bank. The name suggests people once imagined more than humans had lived there.

In pasture. Circular area (diam. 32m) defined by inner earthen bank (H 1.5m); intervening fosse (D 0.85m); outer earthen bank (H 0.55m). Remains of wall visible as single line of stones protruding from top of inner bank to S. Outer bank severely eroded in parts. Possible Man-made underground passage (CO061-102002-) in interior.
