Man-made underground passage in Oldcastle — Report the wrong picture

No passage is visible today, but local information reached Hartnett that a cave once opened inside the Oldcastle ringfort before it closed for good. A shallow depression in the west half may still mark where the entrance swallowed itself. That much is preserved in the published county inventory, not in a new claim about what the cave contained.

In ringfort (CO061-102001-). Hartnett noted that according to local information there was a 'cave' in this ringfort which is 'long since closed' (UCC).
