Fairy fort in Newtown South, County Cork: a 32m earthen ring on a south-facing pasture slope, with a 1.75m bank and shallow outside ditch, partly hidden by trees. It appeared on the 1842 map and lost its eastern edge on later maps, perhaps to ploughing, foot traffic or forgotten work. People may have pastured there, played there, or avoided it after dark, while the earth kept its shape through changing beliefs.

Circular area (32m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 1.75m) SE->NE with external fosse (D 0.65m) E->NE. Bank partially overgrown with trees; interior under pasture.
