Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Newtown (carbury By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Newtown (carbury By.), County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular area spans twenty-two metres and sits on a slight rise in wet pasture. A low earthen bank encloses the eastern and northwestern sections while a scarp defines the remaining edge. A slight ramp marks the original entrance at the northeast.
Situated on a slight rise in gently undulating wet pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by a low bank of earth (Wth 5.1m; int. H 0.30m). At the external foot of the bank is a fosse (Wth 5.1m; D 0.2m). The bank encloses the site E-NW. From NW-E the bank is absent and the edge of the rath is defined by a scarp.
