Mundellihy holds a broken ring of earth and shadow, not a polite museum display. The facts preserve a circular bank, a faint ditch, a eastern gap and a marshy slope, while local names invite fairy danger instead of human pride. That combination is typical everywhere: measure what remains, remember what the people refused to explain.

In marshy pasture, sloping down gently to SW. Roughly circular area (42m N-S; 48m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.95m) with external fosse (D 0.55m; Wth 3.2m). Bank densely overgrown with briars. Gap (Wth 2m) in bank at E. Fosse most prominent ESE->SE, elsewhere very faint. Interior, under grass, slopes down gently to S.
