Fairy fort in Moneygaff East is a circular earthen ringfort with a square platform, stone semicircle and an underground passage inside. It stands on an NE-facing pasture slope in County Cork, shaped like a place people worked, hid or worshipped before the land forgot why. The name fairy fort is a story, not a fact, but the passage and platform suggest more than pasture decoration.

In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Roughly circular raised area (33m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.15m); external fosse (D 1.3m) NW->SW; low counterscarp bank NW->SW. Square platform (10m NE-SW; 10m NW-SE; H 1m) adjoins outer face of counterscarp bank to NE. Semicircle of stones (diam. 4m) NE of centre may be remains of hut site (CO094-034003-); Man-made underground passage (CO094-034002-) in interior.
