What is recorded here
In improved pasture, on a gentle W-facing slope. A circular area (c. 28m E-W; c. 22m N-S) defined by scarp (Wth 1.6-1.7m; H 1.15-1.95m) and external fosse (Wth 4.45m; D 0.55m) visible from WNW-SSW. The scarp is most substantial in the SSW-W where it abuts a stream. The northern half of interior is obscured by dense vegetation. A field drain, running c. NE-SW, enters the fosse at the ENE.
