What is recorded here

Maunvough Hill still holds a circular earth platform twenty-four metres wide, raised two metres above the pasture and sloping gently downward to the north. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the overgrown southern half resists easy explanation or human memory has forgotten the names of those who built it. The earth remains firm enough to mark the shape, even if the purpose has blurred into legend.

In pasture, on N-facing slope of Maunvough Hill. Circular platform (24m N-S; 22m E-W) raised 2m above surrounding land; possible entrance to SSE.
