It occupies a southwest-facing pasture slope with a twenty-two-metre circular area enclosed by a denuded earthen bank. A four-metre external fosse runs along the southeast, south and southwest edges, while a modernised five-metre break at the southwest marks the original entrance.
Situated on a SW-facing slope in pasture. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by a denuded earthen bank (Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.3m). At the external foot of the bank from SE-S-SW is an external fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.4m). Elsewhere it has been infilled but its outline is identifiable from NW-SE. A break in the bank at SW (Wth 5m), which has been modernised, marks the original entrance. The underlying natural slope breaks across SW third of enclosure and the ground level of the interior has been raised and levelled to compensate fro this.
