Fairy fort in Lissybroder is a well-preserved earthen ringfort on a grassy rise in County Galway, measured forty-three by forty-point-five metres across. Two banks and a ditch enclose the space, with a stone-faced outer edge and a clear entrance at the south-east. Three grassy mounds sit inside, likely remains of old field clearance rather than fairy works. The name suggests people once imagined the shape as belonging to something else, but the structure is human, deliberate and still standing.

On a rise in undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (N-S 43m, E-W 40.5m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank is faced with stone, and is overlain by a field bank from NW through N to ENE. There is a well-defined entrance at SE. Within the interior are three grass-covered mounds, probably the result of field clearance (Neary 1914, 112, no. 125) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
