No field bank, stone wall or grassy ridge remains to mark the fort. It vanished completely from the earth. What is left is a absent circle, an empty claim, a shape remembered only through distance and repetition.

Situated two fields NE of the rath named Lissanearla (770), this circular enclosure is clearly marked on the 1841-42 OS map. On the later edition of 1898 the N sector has been cut by a fieldbank running in a NE-SW direction. No surface trace survives today. The above description is derived from C. A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lissanearla East is a circular early-medieval defensive or domestic enclosure, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries. The site is associated with local folklore surrounding fairies and other supernatural beings, common in Irish tradition for such earthworks.
