Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lisnagree

Situated on a hill, in pasture, with wide views of the surrounding landscape. Annotated 'Raghmore' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly oval-shaped earthwork. Ringfort described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 34m) enclosed by a scarp of earth and stone with a low drystone wall on top, with entrance gap at E. There is a drystone field wall outside the scarp from SSE-W-N-NNE. The interior rises from the perimeter towards the centre and the surface is uneven. A number of loose stones and small boulders are scattered across the surface. The whole monument is quite densely overgrown, making inspection difficult.
