Fairy fort in Lisnadarragh, County Cavan: a substantial oval earthen ring with a deep, partly waterlogged ditch, an eastern causeway entrance, and an unexplained interior depression breaking through the western bank. People may have lived, herded, hidden or worshipped there before calling it a fairy fort; the shapes still point to a place made and reused, not a casual mound.

Raised oval area (int. dims. 32.5m E-W; 25m N-S) enclosed by a very substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep, partly waterlogged fosse which has been removed from N-E-SW. A roughly circular depression of unknown significance occurs in the interior and extends into the breach of the bank at WSW. Original entrance represented by break in bank with accompanying causeway at E.
