Situated on a SW-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with a nearby possible ringwork (TN022-009) to the N. A raised D-shaped area (diam. 29m N-S) with its straight side at E (L 26m) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 2m max at N) and an outer fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.3m) with a possible external bank visible at NW only. Depicted as a D-shaped enclosure on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map.
