Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort in Lisduff, County Galway: a circular earthen rath, 41 metres across, standing in undulating pastureland with a tree-lined bank, an external fosse, and a possible two-metre entrance gap at the east-southeast. It is the kind of place where ordinary pasture stops sounding ordinary, as if the ground remembered being shaped for people before becoming a marker in the sky.
In undulating pastureland. Circular rath (diam. 41m), in fair condition, defined by a tree-lined bank and external fosse. There is a possible entrance gap (Wth 2m) at ESE. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 15 January 2018
