Fairy fort in Liscormick, County Longford, is a D-shaped earthen ringfort on an east-facing pasture slope. Its straight southwest side and worn boundary hint that people once lived, marked ownership or avoided danger before the entrance vanished. The fairies may have taken the gate back, leaving behind a ridge large enough to walk around but small enough to forget.

On an E-facing slope in pasture. This raised D-shaped area (c. 35m NE-SW; c. 33m NW-SE), with a straight SW side, is defined by a scarp (H 0.6m) with an external fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.4m), which have been modified and incorporated into the field-boundary system from ESE-S-NW.
