Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Liscoffy (madden) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Liscoffy (madden), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupied a subcircular area thirty-five metres east-west and twenty-seven metres north-south on a slight shelf of a southwest-facing slope. A slight earth and stone bank defined the perimeter, while traces of an outer fosse remained to the southwest and an entrance with causeway faced southeast. Another rath sat immediately southeast, but neither structure is visible at ground level in the pasture now.
On a slight shelf of a SW-facing slope. Described as a subcircular area (dims 35m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by a slight earth and stone bank, with traces of an outer fosse S-W (Gannon 1972). There was an entrance and causeway at SSE. Rath (RO044-026001-) was immediately to the SE. It is not now visible at ground level in pasture. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
