Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight shelf of a SW-facing slope. Described in 1972 as a circular area (diam. 36m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank, with an outer fosse E-SW. A NE-SW field bank and townland boundary cut the E part of the monument and a field bank and townland boundary between Killeenadeema and Toberconor ran SE from this. The original entrance was at S.
