Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight shelf of a SW-facing slope. Described in 1972 as a circular area (diam. 36m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank, with an outer fosse E-SW. A NE-SW field bank and townland boundary cut the E part of the monument and a field bank and townland boundary between Killeenadeema and Toberconor ran SE from this. The original entrance was at S. It is no longer visible at ground level in pasture. Rath (RO044-026002-) was immediately to the NW. (Gannon 1972) Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
