Thirty-four metres of raised earth in Lisanny, County Cavan, form a circular fort enclosed by a substantial bank and a wide, deep fosse. Water still logs the ditch from south-southwest to northwest, while modern re-cutting at the northwest widened the outer edge. The original entrance has vanished beneath soil and time. A fairy fort is only a ringfort the imagination has claimed back.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 34.3m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep fosse, waterlogged from SSW-NW. Earthen deposits outside of fosse at NW are modern, relating to the re-cutting of the counterscarp to widen the fosse. Original entrance riot recognisable.
