Fairy fort in Laragh, County Monaghan: a circular grass-covered area about 30 metres across, marked by an overgrown earthen bank and slight fosse on the east-facing slope of a drumlin ridge. People may have lived there, excluded others, or simply followed the shape the land already suggested. The missing entrance and broken perimeter leave room for imagination, but the bank, ditch and grassy circle remain measurable.

Situated towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.4m WNW-ESE; c. 30m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at WNW: Wth 7m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.6m) and a slight fosse (at WNW: Wth of base 1.6m; D 0.3m) that survive SE-W-NE. The perimeter is reduced to a grass-covered scarp (at ESE: H c. 4m) NE-SSE (L c. 25m) that merges into the natural slope. The original entrance is not identified but it may have been in the E sector.
