Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockphelagh is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockphelagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies gently undulating poor wet pasture near an enclosure 130m to the northeast. The roughly circular site measures 20m north-northeast to south-southwest and 15m west-northwest to east-southeast. A 1.35m wide earthen scarped edge rises 0.3m above a shallow external ditch 4.2m wide and 0.2m deep.
In gently undulating poor wet pasture with an enclosure (TS058-003----) located c. 130m to the NE. Originally circular, the ringfort now consists of a roughly circular slightly raised area (dims. 20m NNE-SSW; 15m WNW-ESE) defined by an earthen scarped edge (Wth 1.35m; ext. H 0.3m) with a shallow flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth at base 2m; overall Wth 4.2m; D 0.2m). From SW-NW the scarped edge has been lowered in height and straightened off and the fosse infilled. A slight ramp (Wth 2m) across the scarped edge at E may indicate the position of the original entrance. The interior undulates slightly across the N half and is clear of overgrowth.
