What is recorded here

Knocknalyre holds a forty-metre earthen ring above an east-facing slope, marking a boundary that has survived since before human memory. The low rise and shallow scarp still shape the pasture, suggesting people once lived inside this simple circle while storms raged outside. Fairy fort is the local name, but the earth remembers hands more than magic.

Roughly circular area (c. 41.5m N-S; c. 35.3m E-W) defined by low rise (H 0.3m) SSW->NE; scarp (max. H 1m) elsewhere. Interior level.
