What is recorded here

Knocknageehy holds a broken earthen ring where cattle still grind through the ancient bank. The soil remembers hands that shaped it long before wheels or roads touched the slope. What is lost has not vanished, only changed form, waiting for someone steady enough to listen.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.15m), stone faced in parts; external fosse (D 0.5m) to NW. Inner bank height low to NW where interior raised to compensate for hillslope. Cattle tracks cross bank to E and S.
