Knocknaclassagh holds a grassy oval platform twenty-two metres long at the foot of a steep Glencar slope, marked by an overgrown scarp and a faint southern bank. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the true entrance vanished beneath rush and soil, leaving only a drainage ditch and a hidden boundary. That absence turns the fort into a living puzzle, inviting imagination to fill the gap where human memory faded.

Towards the bottom of a steep N-facing slope in Glencar valley. Grass and rush-covered oval platform (dims 22m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 1.1m), with traces of a bank (Wth 2m; H 0.4m) at S. The monument is surrounded by a drainage ditch and the original entrance is not identified.
