Fairy fort in Knockdromaclogh, County Cork, a 40m earthen ring on a ridge crest, half-swallowed by tillage and a levelled field boundary. Its bank still rises 0.6m outside, 1.1m scarp on the north-west, the north interior lifted to balance the falling ground. People may have lived there before ploughs and property lines cut through, but the shape resists forgetting: a small made world set on the horizon, partly erased, still holding its circle.

In tillage, on crest of ridge. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) SSE->NNW; scarp (H 1.1m) NNW->NE; E side truncated by N-S field boundary (1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps), now levelled. Interior slopes down gently to N; raised on N side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
