Knockaneglass West once held a levelled single-ramparted fort about twenty-eight yards across on Simon Brown's land. The earth has claimed back the exact spot, erasing the marker but leaving behind the shape of a life lived inside that circle.

Bowman (1934, 719) recorded levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 28yd) on Simon Brown's land. Exact location not known.
