What is recorded here

Situated on a SW-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. An oval area (diam. 45m N-S; 39m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.7m) and an external, wide, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 1m) with a possible entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) at SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
