Situated on the NE-facing slope of a low hillock in undulating countryside with enclosure site (TN029-054) to the N. A circular area (diam. 27m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.6m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.3-2m) and outer fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.5m) visible from S to W only with an entrance gap (Wth 3.5m) at E. A limekiln and quarry are located in the external face of the bank at W with an accompanying quarry in the W sector of the interior.
