Knockaderry holds a twenty-seven-metre earthen ring where a field boundary now cuts through its ancient ditch. The bank still rises beside grazing land, but dense growth hides the level interior from most modern eyes. People may have lived there before memory faded, yet the earth keeps that chapter closed beneath leaves and shadow.

In pasture, on gentle NW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 27m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. 0.6m; ext. 0.9m) with an external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 3m). A fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockaderry is a circular early-medieval defensive or domestic site, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Local tradition associates such forts with fairy folk, and they were often avoided due to beliefs in their supernatural inhabitants.
