What is recorded here
Kimeheer is a fairy fort because people stopped seeing the ordinary ringfort and started imagining the hidden life inside it. The circular bank stood in marshy pasture beside a stream, large enough to hold a household, a herd, or a story. It has since disappeared under pasture and forgetting, which is not loss but transformation. The fort is still making itself visible through wonder, memory, and the life it taught the land to imagine.
In marshy pasture, on flat low-lying ground immediately to S of stream. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m), has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
