Kilnagarnagh holds a broken fairy fort where a field fence cut through the eastern half, leaving only the western curve of a thirty-metre circle. The remaining earth and stone bank still rises a metre and a half above the grass, marking the edge of a home that ordinary farming erased. People may have lived inside that lost circle before the fence arrived, but the land now keeps only half the shape and half the memory.

On a natural rise in undulating countryside. Only the W half of the site survives from S though W to N. Originally a circular area (diam 30m N-S) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (ext. H 1.5m; int. H 0.5m) with shallow external fosse. No entrance feature visible. A field fence running N-S bisects the site in two with the E sector totally destroyed.
