Claragh Mountain casts its shadow across a thirty-four metre earthen ring where a field fence still bends to avoid disturbing the ancient boundary. The bank rises one metre in places but collapses into a two metre scarp elsewhere, proving the hillside fought back against human ambition. A hidden passage may still breathe beneath the pasture, waiting for someone brave enough to stop asking permission from the soil.

In pasture, on SE-facing slope, at foot of SE side of Claragh Mountain. Circular area (34m E-W; 32m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) W->NE, with shallow external fosse (max. D 0.6m) WNW->NNE; bank levelled NE->E and SW->W, surviving as low rise (max. H 0.6m); scarp (max. H 2m) E->SW. Interior raised on SE side to compensate for hillslope; possible Man-made underground passage (CO048-015002-). Field fence to NW curves to respect enclosure.
