No visible gate, two ghost banks, one vanished trench: Killyvaghan's fairy fort is a room the land forgot how to explain. Thirty-one metres across, it may have held a household, a shrine or a children's game about boundary and belonging. The southern half has been flattened and buildings now lean against it, yet the circle still refuses to become ordinary.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 31.4m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intermediate fosse. Outer bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary from WSW-N-E, and levelled elsewhere. Fosse survives only in the N half of the site where it is very poorly defined. Much of the S half of the site has been levelled. Original entrance not recognisable. Modern buildings abut the site from NNE-E-S.
