The roughly circular site measures twenty metres across and sits on a slight rise in gently undulating pasture. A low earth and stone bank encloses the interior, with limestone slabs revetting the inner and outer sides in several places. A stone-lined break at the northeast marks the original entrance, while a large irregular quarry hole occupies the centre.
Situated on a slight rise in gently undulating pasture. Slightly raised roughly circular area (diam. 20m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 1.95m; int. H 0.45m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The bank is made up of an earth and stone core and is revetted on the inner and outer sides from NW-E, at SE and at NW, by limestone slabs laid on edge. A break (Wth 1.1m), also stone lined with limestone slabs, through the bank at NE marks the position of the original entrance. From NNW-N-NE the bank is incorporated into an E-W field boundary. A large irregular quarry hole (dims. 9m E-W; 13m N-S; D 0.6m) lies in the centre of the interior. A relic field bank (SL011-129002-), possible part of a field system, lies 6m to the W of the rath.
